Christmas Matte Extension - Compositing

Here is one project I worked on for my compositing class. Outside of the window was a green screen. I created everything outside of the window in 3d using Maya, and did the snow and chimney smoke in After Effects. The only thing I didn't make was the tree model, courtesy of TurboSquid. The final comp was put together in Shake. I need to go back and fix the indoor footage because it looks craptastic...

Can you guess what movie features this house? I'll give you a hint, the movie also has a sequel...


I would like to do some more work on this when I have the time... I learned a lot in my compositing class, we learned the in's and out's of Shake, and I am teaching myself Nuke as well.
