update

I've been really busy with school (ayo), here are some of the things I've done so far this quarter:

This is my character for advanced sculpture class, we have to do a half robot half human. The sculpture has two replaceable heads, and two replaceable arms. His name is Bo, he has a muffler gun for an arm, an engine on his back and a tire tractor for a leg. He puts his foot up on the accelerator pedal and balances while cruisin'.

I'll post images of the sculpture sometime soon, it is coming along pretty good.



This was a 4 hour painting, we had a plate image that we had to extend out. 1/3 of the image is a photograph.

Good and bad news

Ok, the bad news first: i fried my motherboard while installing a new power supply to power my new gfx card. So that sucks, and explains why i have to post this using my ipod touch. :( so i probably wont be posting much until i get that fixed.

And the good news (which far outweighs the bad): im going back to school on april 6th!
My classes are: conceptual storytelling, advaced sculpture for animation, digital ink and paint, and background design.

Im pretty damn excited and am more than ready to get back.
I've still been working on my comic a lot and am helping Dario Calcines produce a stop motion animation about a sewer monster.

none are really finished (nor intended to be) I was just trying to get a feel for the faces. I'm doing this because my story ERN centers around an Indian family.

New ERN logo

The image on the left is the old logo:



The new Logo is a bit stronger with a more clean feeling, and I especially like the darker letters. The original file is huge so I'll be able to scale this logo as big or as small as needed (like on the front of a comic book.)

This started out as a quick sketch with a sharpie on paper, then I kept messing with the shapes and pushing it in different directions. After that I took it into photshop, redid the lines and then colored. It took way too long and my ass is numb.

I've been sketching all day... on paper and with my Wacom tablet in Photoshop,
and this is one of my favorites:




I painted the eyes first and did the rest of her based on what i thought her eyes conveyed....
i think she is pretty pretty.
